NEW. Many of you have asked us for a longer trek and here are your desires fulfilled with the fusion of Loolu's two most prized treks: Nature Discovery and Jungle Trek. It is indeed 3 days (and thus 3 nights) or 4 days (and 3 nights) that you will spend in the jungle around Chiang Mai (in the Mae Wang valley and the Samoeng area). A real immersion in nature, in contact with the Karen people, one of the many ethnic minorities of the region (from Burma). A tour that combines hiking and the most popular activities offered by the Rose of the North, including meeting elephants. A warm and sparkling young Karen will accompany you off the beaten and beaten tracks and will guide you with passion through this preserved nature. He will take the opportunity to tell you about the surrounding flora and the amazing virtues of medicinal plants. On the program during these four days: visit an authentic local market, a bat cave, a temple in the forest, rafting down a river (by boat and/or bamboo raft depending on the season). And of course the touching meeting of elephants in a small camp respectful of the pachyderms (you will not ride them; on the other hand, you will bathe with them after having fed them). 

You will be invited to prepare the meal, which is taken for example at the foot of a refreshing waterfall. And depending on the season, you will sleep
- at Loolu's House in a authentic local village;
- at another Karen village, alongside the local population;
- at the rice fields, in a tent or in a bamboo bungalow.
You will have the opportunity to discover the various daily activities of Karen people. Meals are prepared together, a wonderful opportunity for enriching sharing. This immersion with the Karen, far from mass tourism, will undoubtedly be a memorable adventure and the most beautiful memory of your stay in Thailand, for sure.

Departure from your hotel the first day around 9am and return to your hotel on the 3rd or the 4th day around 5pm. Running time: between 8 and 10 hours in total. You should ideally bring sneakers or walking shoes, an insecticide, a bathing suit and a towel; as well as a change of clothes and... toilet paper!
